The Zilla Panchayath member M.K.Nanjappa has accused Taluk Panchayath member Addanda Cariappa of misusing Kodava attire.
In a press release, he has said that Cariappa met Chief Minister Kumar Swamy in Bangalore attired in Kodava traditional dress and submitted memorandum on behalf of Kodava community, recently. Nanjappa questioned the authority of Cariappa to represent the community and appealed to Kodava Samajas not to allow misuse of dress and the name of the community
